Staff Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Radiology team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering excellent patient care, maintaining clinical standards, and upholding a patient-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and maintain the inventory of medications, ensuring availability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collect essential patient data, including height and weight measurements, to support diagnostic procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in setting IV cannulas, facilitating diagnostic processes and patient comfort.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, including obtaining consent forms and providing pre-scan counselling.
- Safely administer oral and intravenous contrast agents when required, adhering to established protocols.
- Offer basic health information to patients and respond to their queries with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain inventory control for equipment, surgical supplies, linen, and stationery, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Acquire knowledge of various Diagnostic Imaging Modalities offered by the department and provide assistance as needed.
- Uphold the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of patient preparation areas.
- Conduct daily cleaning of equipment surfaces, particularly those in contact with patients.
- Follow the guidelines outlined in the center’s Standard Operating Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Embrace the service culture and values of the center while maintaining confidentiality of patient records and company information.
- Undertake any other assignments within your expertise and knowledge level as delegated by your supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum GCE “N” Levels.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Applicants must be fully vaccinated (according to MOH guidelines w.e.f. 14 Feb 2022). Proof of vaccination or a doctor’s memo for those medically ineligible may be requested for verification purposes.
