Senior Staff Radiology Nurse
Radlink, a division of Fullerton Health, is a leading provider of radiological services, committed to delivering exceptional healthcare solutions. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to join our Radiology team. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality clinical care, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a customer-focused service within the Radiology department.
Deliverables and Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support during radiology procedures, including x-ray, CT, MRI, PET scans, and biopsies.
- Offer expert advice and interventions within the radiology department to maintain and enhance care standards and promote a seamless service within a multi-professional framework.
- Assess and interpret specialist acute and other patient conditions, taking appropriate actions as needed.
- Support the Radiology department in delivering a high standard of care for all patients.
- Contribute to the principles of clinical governance, setting and monitoring quality standards, and actively participating in clinical risk management and clinical audit.
- Collaborate with a multi-professional team to manage patients within Radiology and Imaging.
Skills & Experience
- Evidence in health/nursing-related studies with ongoing personal and professional development.
- Proficient in cannulation and capable of performing cannulation, blood taking, and drug administration.
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years of experience; radiology knowledge and experience are desirable.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying hours to meet service requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and an ability to drive innovative approaches to working.
- Strong organisational skills with experience working across multiple modalities.
