Mullai Vellasamy is the Chief Nurse at Fullerton Health Philippines, where she oversees staffing, clinical governance, adherence to national regulatory standards, and customer service at the BGC centre. With over 20 years of nursing experience, Mullai has dedicated her career to delivering high-quality healthcare and supporting clinical excellence.
Mullai began her career in the healthcare sector at the National University Hospital (NUH), where she spent six years in the isolation ward. She then transitioned to Radlink, managing both Radlink Diagnostic and Radlink Pet and Cardiac Imaging for seven years. Following her tenure at Radlink, she managed imaging services at Farrer Park Hospital for two years, including Pet, Radiotherapy, and Diagnostic Imaging.
Mullai returned to Fullerton Health in 2019 and has since been actively involved in various COVID-19 response initiatives. Her contributions include participation in the establishment of Koo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), overseeing vaccination centres across Singapore, and managing community isolation facilities such as the Kranji Covid Care Facility and Oasia Covid-19 Holding Facility. Additionally, she played a key role in setting up the Gul Circle Medical Centre, a joint government project aimed at supporting the migrant worker community.
Mullai has also been instrumental in establishing Radlink Philippines and the Fullerton Executive Health Screening Center in Manila, enhancing access to essential health services.
