The company has been actively providing support for their corporate clients through providing frequent updates and advisories via e-newsletters to update their clients and employees on the latest information about the virus. Videos on hand hygiene, how to wear a surgical mask properly and other related content were also produced and disseminated to their clients.
The healthcare provider also assisted their clients to procure flu vaccines, wear personal protection equipment (PPE), surgical masks, face shields, disposable gloves, hand sanitisers, N95 masks, thermometers, alcohol rubs and many others.
They also created webinars to share and provide updates on COVID-19 by their medical directors. Through Telehealth, they started the Chronic Medication Refill program across all their retail and onsite clinics to refill chronic medications for their chronic patients via delivery of medications to the patient’s place of residence.
Moreover, their patients were able to obtain their consultation with their doctors and refill their chronic medications while working from home.
The challenges brought by these trying times gives a glimpse of how prompt response and the right use of technology allow for proper care to be given to patients at the right place and at the right time. This has given Fullerton Health the biggest edge among other healthcare companies, and have earned them the honour of winning Healthcare Asia’s Best Primary Care Provider of the Year Award.
Today, Fullerton is the largest operator of in-house clinics, retail clinics, and executive health screening centres in Singapore. With 250 strong primary care services team offering clinical expertise in family medicine, occupational health, mental health, nursing and more than 30 fully owned / operated Medical Centres & Health Screening Centres in retail locations and onsite at their clients’ premises, they will always continue to challenge themselves through a focus on continuous training, benchmarking and improvement.
