Consolidation Executive (1 year contract)

1 Year Contract

Main responsibilities:

  • Assisting in consolidation of quarterly and annual Singapore Group financials, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Preparation/review of monthly intercompany reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarterly and year-end financial closing
  • Handling statutory audit, coordinate the audit process
  • Ensure the Group accounting policies and estimates are consistent
  • Identify financial reporting issues and initiate measures to enhance the reporting process
  • Maintain and continuously improve operating efficiency of financial processes and reporting
  • Assist in rolling out Group wide accounting policies
  • Ad-hoc projects
  • Any other duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy with relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, specifically in accounting/ Group consolidation
  • Strong technical competency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Experienced candidates from Big 4 audit firms are welcome
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous individual who displays proactiveness towards problem solving
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
